Week 7/52

Well this posted to my other blog for some weird reason. So here it is.

This weeks challenge is a day late but I've had a busy week so who cares? Today I'm posting a picture of numbers. The numbers I'm posting are the numbers on the jersey Seth received for his birthday from my parents. It's a Duke University jersey signed by Bobby Hurley. Now I wasn't a basketball fan until nine years ago when I met my husband. Now I'm a hardcore Duke fan also. Love changed things....often for the better. In this case it most definitely did!

Week 8/52

Food! We all love food. Some of us have a love hate relationship with it. Like me. I love it but hate that it adds pounds to my frame. Oh well. This week I'm posting a picture of our road trip food. We are going to Yellowstone soon for vacations an I've got our road trip snacks packed and ready to go. Well, almost. I have put off making the beef jerky because a certain someone (my loving husband) will eat it all before we leave if I make it too far in advance. So I'm finally putting it in the dehydrator today. My house will smell heavenly to him tonight when he walks through the door! It will smell like a beef jerky heaven. Or something like that. I have this man so spoiled. I decided I wanted to start making jerky myself a few years ago. It took a few tries but after I got it he wouldn't eat the bagged stuff anymore. Oh well. At least I know it's good, right? Anyway. Week 6/52

Cars. They are Talent's new favorite thing. He likes to make boy noises and make his cars go! They can entertain him for hours! So today as I post the picture for this week I thought I'd post cars that Talent plays with often!

7 years!

So seven years ago today I put on the prettiest dress I've ever worn and walked down the aisle. I started a beautiful journey of love and life with a man I still am more than in love with.

Seven years has flown by. It has been the happiest and most crazy time of my life. We've had our share of ups and downs like all couples do, but, I wouldn't trade it for the world! Seth is an amazing husband to me. He provides for our family and he loves me and our son so much. I don't know what I did to get so lucky but I'm glad I have this life.

Week 5/52

This weeks post is about animals! I have two animals that I love very much! Riley, my golden retriever/lab mix, and Redick, my English Mastiff! Riley is my first "baby"....I got him while Seth and I were dating and he has a very special place in my heart. Redick is my rowdy mess. We got him before we found out I was pregnant with Talent. He was a gift from my parents for Seth. These two make life very interesting at times but I love them very much! They are my best friends, protectors, and part of my family. So here are two of my favorite pics of me with them.
