Update on the puppy....

So it's been a while since I blogged. Today I thought I would share some pics of Redick & Riley. Redick has been growing like crazy. We weighed him last week and he weighed 43 lbs. He's almost 4 months old and has made himself very comfortable here! He's finally housebroken, but he still likes to chew on things he's not supposed to chew on, like my shoes, feet, and our furniture. I'm hoping to break him of that soon, I'm tired of eing chewed on. Anyway, here are some pictures of him and Riley.

Riley & Redick sitting at the door wanting to go play....

I heard snoring and looked down, this is how he was sleeping...

They like to cuddle!

Little Suzie Homemaker....

So when I was little, my Mammaw used to make us breakfast every single day before school. I can remember getting there and having "coffee" with her & Pawpaw. She made us our own special coffee and then fed us biscuits & white gravy with sausage and bacon. Oh my it was so good. Well this morning I woke up starving so I decided I would make my wonderful husband breakfast. So I found a simple gravy recipe, made the biscuits, and started the bacon. It turned out so good. And instead of coffee I had the most amazing orange juice! Tropicana is my favorite and I bought some yesterday with a little pulp in it. Oh it was delicious! Anyway I just thought I would share! What are your favorite breakfasts? I know this is one of mine because my Mammaw made it for me every morning for breakfast when I was young. It makes me think of all those mornings we spent with her and Pawpaw. There were a lot of them!

Off to Granny's we go....

So today I took Redick to my Mom & Dad's house and also to my Mammaw & Pawpaw's house. He got to hang out for a little while with my brothers dog, Charlie, and Mom's dog, Sam. He had a good time but he was exhausted when we left. He fell asleep withing minutes of being in the car! I thought I'd share a few pictures of our outing together!

Redick & Momma.....he loves me!

He fell asleep before we got off of their street!

Just a few new things...

So I thought I would take a few minutes and post a few pictures from this week. I got a hair cut and wanted to share and see what everyone thought. I'm trying to let my hair grow back out for some unknown reason. With it being 8000 degrees here, I'm not quite sure what I'm thinking!

I also wanted to share a few pics of the pups and Georgie. Redick is growing like crazy and changes so much every day. He and Riley are getting along so well and I'm just so happy they are friends. I really do have the cutest pups in the world! Anyway, here's the new pics. Enjoy!

The Beauty of Space

So here's a little known fact about me. I love to watch things that happen in space. Tonight was the annual Perseid meteor shower. The Perseid meteor shower has been observed for over 2000 years. It is one of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed. Seth & I try to watch meteor showers every time we know there is one taking place. We've gotten up early to watch them before work and stayed up late to watch them at night. It is something that truly brings me happiness. Seth & I started this space adventure a while back when there was a red moon. I wanted to see it so bad and his house was the greatest place to see it. I remember telling him about it and then a few days later he mentioned that he had seen it while he was leaving for work. We finally got to see it together. It was so neat. After that anytime I saw that there was going to be some amazing thing happening in space, I made it a point to share that with Seth. We've watched several meteor showers together. It is always something that makes me think of my amazing husband. Tonight he was working so I had to watch it with my pups. I took a blanket out there and layed down on the ground with Riley on one side and Redick on the other. It was a beautiful show and isn't even over yet. If you have a chance next year, look for a place that is kinda outside of town, and watch this amazing display.
